SATYAPRAKASH THAKKAR TO BE THE CHIEF SECRETARY OF ANDHRA PRADESH
Hyderabad: Satyaprakash Thakkar a 1981 batch Indian Administrative Service officer will be appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh State as the current office bearer IYR Krishna Rao’s tenure comes to an end on January 31.
Thakkaris a Law graduate from University of Delhi. He held the post of Principal Secretary (Irrigation) from 2004 to 2010 and has more than three decades experience in developmental planning. Thakkar has been the Principal Secretary of Planning Department since November 2010.
