New Delhi: Sh Kapil Mishra, Hon’ble Minister of water and Chairperson of DJB along with Sh Ajesh Yadav, MLA of Badli, inaugurated the water supply lines on 23rd January, 2016. Water was supplied in A to I block of Swaroop Nagar, an unauthorised colony in AC Badli. About 32 km water line which costs Rs 484 lac has been benefiting around 75,000 people of these colonies.
The source of supply of water in this colony is the Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar UGR/ BPS. At present water is being supplied through tankers in this colony.
Camp for new water connections was also organised where the Chairman announced that the connections will be sanctioned @ Rs 100 per square metre for next three months. The camp will continue for next 10 days for the convenience of the residents of this colony.
