PNB’s Senior Hockey team wins the “Bengaluru Super Division Hockey League- 2017

Punjab National Bank’s Senior Hockey team won the “Bengaluru Super Division Hockey League- 2017” by defeating BPCL, 3-1 in the final match of the tournament played at Bengaluru on 26.08.2017. This tournament is very prestigious and Best teams of country participated in this tournament.

The team was awarded cash prize of Rs.5.00 lakhs and a glittering golden trophy. Sh. Gagandeep Singh (Junior) was adjudged best full back and Sh. Jasbir singh, Sh Sukhjit Singh were declared best goal keeper and best forward of the tournament respectively.

Punjab National Bank is promoting the national game of hockey. The Bank has established a hockey academy to nurture the hockey players.
