EYE CHECK-UP CAMP FOR SENIOR CITIZENS ORGANIZED BY NHPC
NHPC Limited organized a Free Medical & Eye Check-up Camp for Senior Citizens to celebrate Senior Citizens weak in association with Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad and Icare Hospital, Noida at Tau Devi Lal Vridhawas, NIT, Faridabad on 6th October 2017.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. (Smt.) Kamla Fartyal General Manager (Medical Services) NHPC. This medical and eye check-up camp was primarily organized for the elderly people residing in Vridhawas. The camp was highly successful wherein more than60 elderly people availed the benefits of the camp. During the camp, free medicines were distributed based on the consultation by specialist doctors.
In another event on the same day, NHPC organized a cultural programme at Cheshire Homes India- Delhi Unit, Okhla where physically and mentally challenged children performed before senior citizens residing therein. This overwhelming performance of children was highly appreciated by all spectators. On this occasion, NHPC also handed over edible and grocery items to Cheshire Homes for the consumption of the inmates.
