CENTRAL VIGILANCE COMMISIIONER Shri. RAJIV DEDICATES WEBSITE OF VIGILANCE STUDY CIRCLE TO ALL STAKE HOLDERS
New Delhi, Jan 04 Central Vigilance Commissioner, Shri Rajiv dedicated the website of Vigilance Study Cirlce today in presence of Secretary, CVC, Shri Alok Kumar was also present as guest of honour on the occasion.
The General Secretary of the Circle, Shri Shiv Kumar Gupta told that Vigilance Study Circle is a body of all the Chief Vigilance Officers of Delhi NCR. Vigilance Study Circle is engaged in promoting good governance measures using the tools of transparency, probity and integrity. VSC Delhi NCR facilitates a forum for exchange of ideas for various vigilance and anti corruption practices to work in close contacts with each other under the overarching patronage of Central Vigilance Commission and the partent body i.e. Vigilance Study Circle, Hyderabad.
Incidentally, in August 2013, this circle was inaugurated by the then Central Vigilance Commissioner, Shri Pradeep Kumar, in the presence of all the VCs and Sr. Govt. officials. During this period the VSC has conducted many lecture series, training programmes, to educate the vigilance staff. Now, this website is open to all the stake holders and general public across the world having best practices in vigilance administration and various case studies which will help all the stake holders in combating corruption in the country.
Shri Parvez Hayat, CVO, Power Grid Corporation of India welcomed the guests and Shri Navin Prakash, CVO, SAIL proposed the vote of thanks. Shri Prabhat Kumar, Joint Secretary and CVO, Pawan Hans introduced the website to the audience. The website can be accessed through www.vscdelhincr.org
