Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary, G Sai Prasad IAS, tenure extended by six months.

The Centre has approved a second six-month extension for Andhra Pradesh chief secretary G Sai Prasad, until May 31, 2027. Prasad, an IAS officer of the 1991-batch was earlier granted a six-month extension from June 1 to Nov 30. The Andhra Pradesh government has written to the Centre in September last week requesting for an extension for Sai Prasad.
