VARIED ADMINISTRATOR JATINDERBIR SINGH,IAS ON BOARD PUNJAB & SIND BANK AS CMD

Shri Jatinderbir Singh, IAS, takes over as Chairman  & Managing Director

of Punjab & Sind Bank

In pursuance to the Government of India, Ministry of Finance notification dated 31.1.2014, Shri Jatinderbir Singh, IAS, took over as Chairman & Managing Director of Punjab & Sind Bank.  A post graduate in English and Masters in Business Administration from Australian National University, Canberra, Shri Singh is an IAS Officer of 1983 batch of the Assam Meghalaya  cadre.

Prior to joining Punjab & Sind Bank as Chairman & Managing Director, Shri Singh was serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India, New Delhi. He brings with  him  a long  and  varied administrative experience   of nearly 30  years in various assignments such as Director, Rural Development and Panchayat in Government of Punjab, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Government of India and Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development, Government of Assam.
