THE PUISSANT MEGASTAR BIG B CELEBRATES 71ST BIRTHDAY

Legendary Megastar Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 71st birthday in Mumbai on Friday.Born on October 11,1942 the megastar celebrated his birthday with family and close friends.

Amitabh Bachchan  celebrated his birthday in a modest get-together this time, unlike the big event last year. Amitabh also held a press conference at his house Janak on Friday morning.

“Last year, there was a grand celebration as it was the 70th birthday, this year it is quite simple and quiet. Every year it is not possible to do it that way. I met family members and close associates. All I wish for is love and affection on my birthday,” the actor said.

Thousands wished Amitabh on social networking sites like twitter and facebook on Friday and the the evergreen star thanked his fans for their love and support.

“Thank you all for the greetings in person and in the virtual. It has made my day a lot happier… a small family get together at night has just come to an end… sufi songs, poetry recitations and a general atmosphere of like minded people,” Amitabh posted on his facebook account.
