PNB BAGS CORPORATE VIGILANCE EXCELLENCE AWARD 2015

New Delhi: The Institute of Public Enterprise , Hyderabad , in its Corporate Vigilance Excellence Award-2015 ceremony held at Osmania University Campus, Hyderabad on 12.03.2015 , attended by CMDs, EDs, CVOs of public sector enterprises across the country , gave away the Corporate Vigilance Excellence Award-2015 to PNB , second successive time, in the hands of Shri Shiv Kumar Gupta , CVO, PNB, based on excellent track record for quick disposal of vigilance cases, reduction in outstanding vigilance cases , pruning down pending vigilance cases of more than one year old , improved handling of complaints , institution of whistle blowing system , various e-initiatives, leveraging on technology through green vigilance software, preventive/participative vigilance & anti-corruption measures, educative measures through in-house magazine PNB Vigil, introduction of vigilance audit system, new risk based staff accountability policy, enabling savings of huge amount by averting potential frauds, etc.

Further, Shri Shiv Kumar Gupta, CVO, PNB has also been conferred with the Best Vigilance Personnel 2014-15, considering his significant contribution as CVO in Punjab National Bank , in excelling various vigilance parameters including reduction in outstanding vigilance cases, IAC cases, miscellaneous references complaints, preventive & pro-active vigilance administration, revision of Vigilance Manual , PNB vigil , leveraging on technology, various e-initiatives, etc.
