M K GOEL assumes charge as CMD – Power Finance Corporation
New Delhi, Sept 14 : M K Goel has assumed the charge of Chairman and Managing Director of PFC w.e.f. 13th Sept, 2013 in addition to his present portfolio of Director (Commercial) in the Corporation.
An electrical engineer by profession, Goel has over 33 years’ experience of working in the Power Sector. Goel has been with PFC for the last 25 years and joined PFC Board in July 2007. Apart from handling various key functions, he has been steering the implementation of flagship programmes of Ministry of Power, Government of India like Restructured Accelerated Power Development & Reform Programme (R-APDRP), Ultra Mega Power Projects (UMPPs) during his recent tenure in PFC.
