K. R.KAMATH, CMD, PNB UNFULRS NATIONAL FLAG AT BANK H.O TO COMMEMORATE INDIA 65TH REPUBLIC DAY

New Delhi, Jan 27 : On the momentous occasion of 65th Republic Day, National Flag was unfurled by K.R. Kamath, the Chairman & Managing Director of Punjab National Bank at their Head Office premises, Bhikhaiji Cama Place, New Delhi. The Executive Directors, officials and staff members of the bank and their families attended the function.
Addressing the gathering, Shri  Kamath said that our Nation has embraced democracy and preserved it passionately for over 6 decades. He paid tributes to the illustrious leaders who led the freedom struggle. He added that we have got freedom now but should visualize what we would have been without it. It is, therefore, very important that we appreciate the real value of the freedom that we have got and respect it.

He exhorted all staff to actively contribute to the process of ‘transformation’ which will make the bank the best. He complimented all the members of PNB  Parivar for their dedicated performance and called upon them to re-affirm their resolve to continue on the path of progress and to remain a leading player in not only the banking industry but also in nation building so as to realize the dream of emerging as a leading nation in the world.

On this occasion CSR event was organized in which  Smt Pushpa Kamath, President of PNB PRERNA, distributed the  blankets and folding beds to the old-age            under-privileged destitute.  Smt. Sushma Bali, Secretary and other members of PNB Prerna were also present in the function.  The donated articles will be used to impart a bit of  relief to these underprivileged section of the society.
