Gauri Shankar joins Punjab National Bank (PNB) as Executive Director

New Delhi: Sh Gauri Shankar has been appointed by Government of India as Executive Director, Punjab National Bank with effect from 07.10.2013.

Sh Gauri Shankar started his banking career in 1977 with Bank of India (BOI). In his career spanning over 3 decades, he has served all over India with experience at branch, zonal office and head office levels. He has vast experience in international operations as well having worked at Jakarta and Singapore. He has worked successfully in different functional areas. His forte has been finance, strategy and HR development. He was also closely associated with the transformation process at BOI as Head of ‘Change Management Office’. Before joining PNB, Sh Gauri Shankar was working as General Manager at BOI Head Office in Mumbai.
