CONGRESS PARLIAMENTARY BOARD RE-ELECT SONIA GANDHI AS ITS PRESIDENT

New Delhi: After a disastrous election results at the recent lok sabha poll ,the congress parliamentary board re-elected Sonia Gandhi as Congress Party President on saturday.

Union Minister of Railways, Mallikarjun Kharge, proposed the name of Congress chief for the post which was supported by other senior party leaders including Mohsina Kidwai. 

Sonia said in a statement that the party had failed to judge the mood of the nation and  asked the workers to understand the reasons behind it and work on the same.
