AHEAD OF RESHUFFLE KALRAJ MISHRA RESIGNS

New Delhi: Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Kalraj Mishra has resigned ahead of Sunday’s Cabinet Reshuffle.

Earlier, Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, Minister of State for Water Resources Sanjeev Balyan, Minister of State for Human Resources Development Mahendra Nath Pandey and Minister of State for Health Faggan Singh Kulaste had resigned from their respective posts.

There are reports that some more ministers may resign before tomorrow’s reshuffle. The swearing-in ceremony of new ministers will take place at Rashtrapati Bhawan at 10 am in the morning, according to official sources.

Several new faces, including from the BJP’s allies, are expected to join the Narendra Modi Cabinet. Speculation is rife that the fresh faces in the Union Council of Ministers could be from poll-bound Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka along with some from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
