Ahead Elections Delhi Police seizes 50 cartons Illicit Liquor,1 Mahindra Champion three wheeler and santro car,Arrests three suppliers in relation to it.

THREE SUPPLIERS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR ARRESTED BY THE POLICE OF PS BADARPUR AND OKHLA INDL. AREA.

50 CARTONS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR, ONE MAHINDRA CHAMPION THREE WHEELER AND SANTRO CAR SEIZED.

 On 30/11/13 SI Baldev Raj along with Ct Sube Singh 3342/SE was on area patrolling on Government Motorcycle No. DL-1SN-5494 in the jurisdiction of PS OIA, New Delhi. At around 12.30 AM when SI Baldev Raj along with Ct Sube Singh reached, opposite Harkesh nagar Government School near Okhla Metro Station. They noticed a speeding white colour Santro car No. DL-2CW-2077 coming towards them, On suspicion they waved hand to stop the car but the Driver of the car after seeing the Police personnel  in uniform try to fled away from the spot and he did not stop the car. On this the above Police personnel chased the car on Government motorcycle.  The car driver left the car at railway line near Okhla Tank and run away towards the railway line.

Later on the car driver was nabbed by the Police persons and car driver was identified as Laxman Kumar s/o Sh.Gheesa Ram r/o Badarpur, New Delhi and on checking the car they found 25 Carton of illicit liquor. Accordingly a case vide FIR No. 643/13 u/s 33/38 Ex. Act was registered and accused Laxman was arrested and 25 Carton of illicit liquor and one Santro Car were seized.

On 02/12/2013 HC Vinod Kumar 101/SE along-with staff was present at Badarpur Border Picket, on Mathura Road. At about 7:30 PM he received a secret information that two suppliers of illicit liquor would come between 7:40-8:00 PM from Faridabad side in a Mahindra Champion three wheeler bearing No 5741. The information was told to Inspr. Akhileshwar SHO/Badarpur, who directed him to take immediate necessary action. On this HC Vinod Kumar shared the information with the team members. At about 7:50 PM a Mahindra Champion three wheeler bearing No. DL-1LL-5741 was coming from Faridbad towards Badarpur. As per the information and indication of the informer, the same vehicle was stopped at Badarpur Border Picket and both persons sitting in that vehicle were enquired. On enquiry the name and addresses of those persons found as (1) Raju S/o Kesav @ Charan Singh R/o Okhla Phase-II, Age-22 yrs  (2) Rajudin S/o Rudar R/o,Okhla Industrial Area Phase-II, Age-35 yrs.  After that HC Vinod Kumar checked the vehicle.  There were 25 cartons of illegal liquor in the vehicle.  On that HC Vinod Kumar passed information to PS Badarpur and after that SI Amit Kumar along-with Ct. Vinodan 558/SE came to the place of incident and after completion of necessary formalities both persons were arrested vide case FIR No. 427/13, U/s 33 Delhi Excise Act and 25 Carton of illicit liquor and one Mahindra Champion three wheeler were seized.

  During interrogation accused persons disclosed that they were taking cartons of illicit liquor from Palla, Faridabad (Haryana) to Okhla Industrial Area. They planned to supply illicit liquor during Election campaign at high prices.

RECOVERY:

1.    50 cartons of illicit liquor.

2.    One Santro Car

3.    One Mahindra Champion Three Wheeler.

The teams of both the Police Stations are being suitably rewarded.
