7.14% increase in the Interim Dividend of
Rs. 3092.06 crore paid by NTPC Ltd
NTPC Ltd paid highest ever interim dividend of Rs.3092.06 crore, compared to Rs. 2885.92 crore last year, which amounts to an increase of 7.14% over previous year. For the year 2011-12, NTPC Ltd paid a total dividend of Rs.3298.19 crore.
The RTGS advice for an amount of Rs. 2319,03,68,625/- being the share of Government of India was handed presented to Shri Jyotiradiya Scindia, Hon’ble Minister of State (I/C) for Power in the presence of Shri P Uma Shankar, Secretary (Power) by Shri Arup Roy Choudhury, CMD, NTPC. Shri ICP Keshari, JS (MOP), Shri A.K. Singhal, Director ( Fin), Shri I.J. Kapoor , Director (Comml), Shri A.K. Jha , Director (Tech) , Shri U.P. Pani, Director (HR), NTPC and senior officials were present on the occasion.
This is the 20th consecutive year that NTPC Ltd. has paid dividend.
