When Chief Minister Delhi Rekha Gupta talks about lesser flooding in Delhi in rains there is one area in Delhi , northwest , Rishi Nagar which lanes flood due to Delhi Jal board sewers choked and water leaking from so many days and the issue seems not going to resolve with filthy lanes and problems for residents to commute for their daily living needs and stagnant sewage can pose serious health concerns like mosquito breeding and other issues related to stagnant filthy water.
Our editor who also has residence there complaint was also unresolved by the area JE Abhishek Kumar of Delhi Jal board despite repeated reminders and the cleaning employees left the place without resolving it. Complaint number being DJB00 3022117.
With 40% roughly being charged for drainage maintenance every month from DJB consumers in its waterbill the drains should be serviced every month and not when it floods streets.
If the CM office is reading this news article , it is requested to take appropriate measures and actions in this regard so that residents don’t suffer due to this.
