VOAFONE ROLLS OUT ITS 4G SERVICES IN MYSORE FROM TODAY
Vodafone India launched today its fourth generation (4G) service in Mysore in Karnataka, after launching in 10 towns of Kerala last month. This is the second state where Vodafone is offering 4G services.
“Karnataka is a significant growth market for Vodafone India with data contributing to 20 per cent of total revenues and growing at a rate of over 50 per cent annually. Beginning with Mysore, we will soon expand our 4G coverage across the state in a phased manner to cover important business and tourism centres including Bangalore, Mangalore and Hubli,” said Suresh Kumar, operations director (South) for Vodafone India.
The second largest telecom provider has plans to roll out 4G services in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bengaluru by March this year.
