VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK OBSERVED AT REC LTD

Vigilance Awareness Week was observed at Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd (REC Ltd.) from 29th October to 3rd November 2012 as per directives of CVC on the theme “Transparency in Public Procurement”, commencing with the pledge administered by CMD and address by CVO to all its employees. The inaugural function was also presided over by Shri Pratyush Sinha, Ex-CVC who delivered a talk on vigilance issues, emphasizing the role of vigilance as a management tool. During the week, various activities like essay writing, quiz competition, lectures of eminent speakers etc. were organized. The valedictory function was attended by Shri K.D. Tripathi, Secretary, CVC who addressed the employees and shared his rich experience and knowledge in the field of vigilance administration. He also distributed the prizes to the winners of various competitions. The Vigilance Awareness week concluded successfully spreading message of integrity and probity to the officials of the organization.
