Tushar Mehta appointed Solicitor General of India

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of  Tushar Mehta, Senior Advocate, as Solicitor General of India w.e.f. the date of assumption of charge of the office for a period till 30.06.2020, or until further orders, whichever is earlier
