Delhi Police has consistently been adopting new methodologies and technologies to enhance its service delivery capacity. Our endeavour has been to identify areas where newer means can help in reducing public inconvenience and consequent dissatisfaction with police functioning. One such area for public is how to reach to police in various situations. This app will facilitate to access all the services provided by Delhi Police Apps, information of various Websites, by just one touch /click. This Mobile App named “Delhi Police …One touch away” is a solution on one platform and is being launched for trial today.

App is user friendly and easy to adapt.
Provides contact numbers, name, e-mail I.D. of all public dealing Delhi Police Officers to the public and all contact details to Police Officers.
Provision to disseminate text, documents, photographs, audio or video as notifications to predefined groups in police or to public.
Provides helpline numbers and Control Room numbers.
Provides police officers’ numbers with designation, name and photographs.

v) Proclaimed offenders with photographs
vi) Wanted criminals with photographs/portraits
vii) Terrorist with photographs/portraits etc.
Notifications are the easiest and fastest way to reach to public.

This is the conceptualization of the contours to develop this app to create one platform to bring all Website links, Mobile apps links and services for the convenience of Public is of by Sh. Bhim Sain Bassi, Commissioner of Police, Delhi. This app has been developed under the close supervision of Sh. Mahesh Batra, Addl.DCP. This Mobile application has been trial launched by C.P., Delhi Shri Bhim Sain Bassi on 28th August 2015.
