Sir Gangaram Hospital organizes its first sports meet GREESUM’17

 Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, a name steeped in decades of trust, has always been a pioneer when it comes to health-care. The hospital, in its strive to promote health through sports, organised its first sports meet, GRESSUM ’17, for all its resident doctors and consultants at the Bal Bharti Public School, SGRH Marg. The event was declared open by Dr. D. S. Rana, Chairman, Board of management, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, amid a lot of cheering and shoutouts on 16th June. He was appreciative of the residents who planned the entire event to perfection despite their hectic schedules. The doctors displayed stupendous expertise in the field of Sports by participating in big numbers in the 3 day extravaganza. Behind the success of the fest was an extremely dedicated and talented team of students, actively supported by the mentors Dr D S Rana, Dr S P Byotra, Dr Anupam Sachdev, Dr S Nundy, Dr Atul Kakar and Dr Atul Gogia. The event included cricket, volley-ball, badminton, table tennis, chess and carrom.

 

 

“The organisation of this event was a concerted effort, managed by the residents from the various departments. We are happy that the residents had a great time and, hopefully, such events will continue to happen in the future as well.”, said Dr. Darshit Shah, one of the main organisers. The organising committee also expressed gratitude for all the support received from Bal Bharti Public School. “The facilities at the school were top-notch and we couldn’t have asked for a more gracious set of hosts.”, Dr. Nikhil added.
