Sh.D.P.Singh ,CMD Punjab & Sind Bank , felicitating Ms.M.C.Mary Kom  for her outstanding achievement & the laurels she has brought to the  nation.

Ms.M.C.Mary Kom,world famous  boxer and Indian icon was felicitated  by the Punjab & Sind Bank.In a well attended function  organized   by   the   Bank  in    honour   of   Ms.Mary Kom  at  The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi. Sh.D.P.Singh,   IAS,   Chairman   &  Managing    Director  of  the    Bank  ,  lauded   the   outstanding achievements of the player in the area of Boxing  & the laurels she has brought to the country.  She  is the first Indian women boxer  to have won  five world titles consequtively & has more than three Asian titles & eleven National titles  under her belt, informed Sh.Singh.She is recipient of the Arjuna Award,the Padma Shri Award, a special award from AIBA besides the Khel Rattan award .Mary Kom is the only Indian Boxer to qualify for  London Olympics. Sh.Singh ,on behalf of the Bank, wished Mary Kom the very best   for London Olympics.
