RANI SINGH NAIR IRS TO BE CENTRAL BOARD OF DIRECT TAXES CHAIRPERSON

New Delhi: Rani Singh Nair senior Indian Revenue Service(IRS) officer to be appointed the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) chairperson, with incumbent Atulesh Jindal retired on Sunday.Nair will be in office till October 31

Nair, a 1979-batch IRS officer, is presently working as member (legislation and computerisation) in CBDT, policy making body of the Income-Tax department.
