Preventive vigilance and Pro-active vigilance are the two key words which are being practiced in Punjab National Bank. Addressing the Disciplinary Authorities of various Northern Circles of the Bank, Shri K.R.Kamath, Chairman & Managing Director, emphasized the importance of speedy justice and take all the factors in consideration while deciding the cases. He dealt in detail the implications of wrong judgement on the social and moral life of the concerned employee.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Shiv Kumar Gupta, Chief Vigilance Officer of the Bank, highlighted the transformation brought about by introducing transparency, objectivity and parity as far as vigilance matters are concerned. He also stressed the need of speedy and fair justice to the employees of the Bank.
Shri J.L.Negi, Adviser, CBI also addressed the participants.
The two days seminar was organized by the Bank at New Delhi to equip the Disciplinary Authorities of the Bank. Shri C.S.Pasricha, Principal, Central Staff College and Shri S.N.Sahoo, AGM, Vigilance were also present on the occasion.
