PRIVATE HOSPITALS IN DELHI MAY FACE CAPITAL CRUNCH DUE TO DELHI GOVERNMENT ISSUED STRINGENT ADVISORY OF DO’S AND DONT’S
Private Hospitals in DELHI may face capital crunch due to stringent compliance advisory by Delhi Government as it will create a ruckus situation for the hospital administration of the pvt .hospitals in case the relatives of deceased failed to pay the amount due on the treatment of there patients as they can now get away with the deceased body in a stipulated time set by the government. The AAP led government by ARVIND KEJRIWAL has put all hospitals in a TIZZY by issuing a WHAT TO DO and WHAT NOT TO DO advisory.
The advisory contains directives such a s immediate medical care to emergencies like situations such as road accident, acid attack, sexual assualts etc.Flouting of the directives mentioned in the advisory will attract strict action on the concerned medical institute.
However when asked about the current directive issued by HEALTH DEPARTMENT,GOVT. OF NCT OF DELHI impact on PVT. Hospitals Dr. D.S.RANA ,Chairman Board of Management & Department of Nephrology.,SIR GANGA RAM HOSPITAL said “This is a welcome step by the Government of Delhi for deservingly poor people but this advisory shouldn’t be misutilized by the relatives of the deceased who can afford and has been fully made aware of the expenses of the treatment given to the deceased at the time of admission and during the period of hospitalisation” .
So is it that the current Health Department of Government of Delhi issuance of such stringent directives to PVT. Hospitals trying to minimise casualties in serious emergencies or is it trying to bring down the current standards of PVT. HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS MEDICALCARE this only time will tell???
