OIL INDIA BAGS INDIA TODAY PSU AWRDS FOR BEST COMPANY IN CSR & SUSTAINABILITY
Oil India Limited, India’s second largest National Exploration & Production Company, was awarded the ‘Best Company in CSR & Sustainability’ Award, in the Navratna segment, in the glittering India Today PSUs Awards, 2015ceremony at New Delhi on 14th December, 2015.
P.K. Sharma, Director (Operations), Oil India Limited, received the award on behalf of the Company from Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India, in the esteemed presence of Piyush Goyal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy, Govt. of India, Aroon Purie, Editor-in-Chief of India Today and the Chairman of the India Today Group and Raj Chengappa, Group Editorial Director (Publishing), India Today.
The India Today Group PSUs survey, in association with Marketing and Development Research Associates (MDRA), a premier research organisation, attempted to recognise the contribution of the PSUs towards nation-building. The survey evaluated the PSUs across four segments – Maharatna, Navaratna, Miniratna and other PSUs – under eight differentcategories.
