Hundreds of people from across
the United Kingdom gathered at
the Brighton Chattri memorial
on the Downs just north of
Patcham near Brighton,to
remember the war sacrifice of
Sikh and other allied soldiers.

Those attending included The
Mayor of Brighton and Hove Alex
Phillips and representatives of
the armed forces and veterans
associations, relatives of Sikh
soldiers and senior figures from
civic and political life.
