To mark the International Women’s
Day, the New Delhi Municipal
Council felicitated women from
the different walks of life like
social work, media and NDMC
officials as “Gender Champions” at
a function organized at NDMC
Head Quarter at New Delhi today.
Speaking at the function Smt
Rashmi Singh, Secretary, NDMC
informed that aiming at all-round
development of the girl child, the
NDMC had undertaken various
steps like setting up of a football
academy for the girl child’s under
age of 10 years, besides quality
education with power use of ICT
through smart classes.
