KARNATAKA ELECTION RESULTS 2018 -BJP EMERGES AS SINGLE LARGEST PARTY
The Bharatiya Janata Party has emerged as the single largest party in the Karnataka Assembly, but has fallen short of the halfway mark to form a government.
In in a quick turn of events, the Congress announced it was willing to support the Janata Dal (Secular) in forming a government.
Election in the R.R. Nagar constituency in Bengaluru has been postponed following the seizure of over 9,000 voter ID cards. Election in Jayanagar in the city has been countermanded following the demise of BJP candidate and sitting MLA Vijay Kumar.
