FOLLOWING MERGER OF SUBSIDIARIES WITH SBI ,A SPUR IN VRS APPLICANTS ARISES

Following the merger of subsidiaries with State Bank of India, there is a sudden spurt in VRS applicants from the subsidiary banks. For instance, State Bank of Bikaner’s Jaipur branch has seen as many as 1,014 VRS applications from all ranks: DGM-1, AGM-24, CM-84, MM3-153, MM2-240, JM1-120, Specialist-3, and Award-389. Total applications of ABs is 4031.

Sources said a similar situation is prevailing in the other subsidiary banks of SBI following the merger.
