I got the motivation to start this NGO from my family. Our family has faced many difficult medical problems in the past 20 years. I myself have encountered many medical problems. My family, especially my mother Late Mrs. Bimal Gupta Ji and my father, Late Mr. Govind Ram Ji, always had this vision that I should do something through which I can help those people who are troubled by various diseases and cannot get themselves treated properly due to lack of medical knowledge. To complete this visionary objective of my parents, I started writing medical blogs through which I started to tell people about the diseases that my family had faced. Continuing this work, I started giving free medical counselling to various hospitals (Sir Ganga Ram, Apollo).
Moving on this route, I started a medical NGO called DRISHTI. The main purpose of this NGO is to give people knowledge about various critical illnesses in the absence of whichthey find themselves very helpless andhave to face many problems. This NGO focused on its purpose based its first medicalawareness program on Liver Transplant and Gastrointestinal Diseases.
Through these programs we provide information about various diseases to people through the famous doctors oChief Programming Officer, Radio Mirchi. Mr. Tapas Sen apprised the audience about the importance of medical NGO like DRISHTI and emphasized that such an NGO needs to be linked to as many people as possible to accomplish such sacred and noble work in the society. Dr.Prabhu Mishra apprised the audience of stem cell therapy and conveyed to the people about the diseases where this process can be used. Dr. Mishra gave information about this process in a very intuitive and straightforward way and answered the questions of the peopleto provide them with the right advice. In addition to Dr. Mishra, Dr. Nikita Sood and Dr.Kanchan Bhardwaj also spoke about the use of stem cell therapy in their field.A sizeable number of persons from I.P. Extension Group Housing Society were present in this program. Many known personalities of the IP Extension, Mr.Baldev Gupta, Mr. Naseeb Singh, Mr.Anurudh Lal, Mrs. Aparna Goyal, took out their valuable time to become part of this program. Many people were involved in the successful organization of this program which I would like to thank on behalf of the DRISHTI family.
