Daljit Singh Chaudhary IPS accorded a warm farewell as Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF) on his retirement day.

IPS officer Daljit Singh Chaudhary (IPS:1990:UP) was accorded a warm farewell on his retirement as Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF) on November 30. 

He was appointed as the BSF DG on August 3, 2024, at a time when tempers ran high along the India-Pakistan border in the Jammu region, where security forces and civilians were suffering casualties.

Senior IPS officer Praveen Kumar (IPS:1993:WB), currently posted as ITBP chief, has been assigned the additional charge of the BSF DG in his place
