CHITTOOR MAYOR KATARI ANURADHA BRUTALLY MURDERED

Andhra Pradesh: Chittoor Mayor Katari Anuradha was brutally murdered and her husband Katari Mohan, a senior TDP leader, seriously injured in an attack by a gang of three on the premises of the Chittoor Municipal Corporation office here on Tuesday noon.

According to preliminary information, the gang members barged into the chamber, though some municipal staff tried to stop them, shot and attacked the couple with knives. They escaped immediately after the attack, leaving the couple in a pool of blood.

Municipal officials and some TDP leaders rushed to the aid of the couple.
