BINITA THAKUR ,IPS APPOINTED DIRECTOR NATGRID

New Delhi: Binita Thakur an IPS officer of (RJ:96) has been appointed as Director, NATGRID.She has been appointed for the balance period of her central deputation which ends on December 17, 2016.Thakur was recently replaced by IAS officer M Imkongla Jamir as Private Secretary to Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani. She was put on compulsory wait in July in Department of Higher Education.She would be reporting to Secretary (Internal Security) Ashok Prasad.
