Rajeev Kumar Sharma IPS appointed as new DGP of Rajasthan.

The Government of Rajasthan on Monday (30.06.2025) appointed Rajeev Kumar Sharma (IPS:1990:RJ), the senior-most IPS officer in the state cadre, as the new Director General of Police (DGP). He will take over from Acting DGP Ravi Prakash Meharda (IPS:1991:RJ), who retires today (June 30).
