PNB Vigil, the quarterly periodical magazine of Punjab National Bank, Vigilance Department was released on 20.04.2015 by Shri Gauri Shankar, MD & CEO of the Bank along with Shri Shiv Kumar Gupta, Chief Vigilance Officer during the 20th Circle Heads’ Business Conference held at Hotel Hyatt Regency at Bhikhaiji Cama Place, New Delhi. The other two Executive Directors of the Bank Shri K V Brahmaji Rao and Dr. Ram S. Sangapure, all Field General Managers, Corporate General Managers and Circle Heads of the bank were also present.
The magazine is a Special Issue on PNB Creating History in Vigilance Administration with multifaceted and concerted endeavour in bringing down the outstanding vigilance cases to the lowest ever in 21st Century. While releasing the magazine, Shri Gauri Shankar, MD & CEO highlighted on the positive efforts put in by Shri Shiv Kumar Gupta, CVO and his team and emphasized upon the need to spread the positive vive without distortion throughout every nook and corner of the organisation and to all the stake holders of the Bank which would be conducive for the controlled expansion of the organisation. He also felicitated Shri Shiv Kumar Gupta, CVO and the entire team of Vigilance Department for bringing glory to PNB on being conferred with the prestigious Corporate Vigilance Excellence Award 2014-15 and also applauded Shri Shiv Kumar Gupta, CVO on being adjudged the Best Vigilance Personnel 2014-15 by the Institute of Public Enterprises, Hyderabad on 12.03.2015.
Shri Gauri Shankar, MD & CEO commended the efforts of the department and wished that the magazine , PNB Vigil, is widely read by all employees as this is a magazine of substance containing live case studies and also full of experience sharing on issues leading to vigilance perception.
Shri Shiv Kumar Gupta, CVO also presented the positive steps taken by the Vigilance Department which have made the vigilance administration robust and also helped the organisation in warding off possible losses by preventive and proactive vigilance efforts.
The magazine is the mouth piece of PNB Vigilance Administration which has remained a guiding force to the field.
