Full Moon In Scorpio
On May 18th we have a Full Moon in Scorpio. All full moons are a release of energy. The mark a new phase of the lunar cycle which lasts approximately 30 days with the Moon in a single sign for two and a half days. The Full Moon marks a time of completion and ending and it takes place in the opposing zodiac sign that the Sun is in at that time.
For Taurus, it’s opposite sign is Scorpio. Where Taurus is about take, Scorpio is about giving. Scorpio and Taurus are both feminine and receptive signs.
Scorpio is associated with the death, rebirth, sex, secrecy, hidden matters, money that is gifted from one person to another, and the sharing of property. It can also be the symbol of the misuse of power, the hidden force that you have in your identity, your sexual side and your ability to come undone or to be the undoing of another person.
When a Scorpio enters your life, there is no denying that things are about to change, and it can be painful for you to experience. There is a reason why the Scorpio zodiac sign is known as the sign of the surgeon. They will not leave you unaware that you have a problem and it needs to be removed, and if necessary, they can be the one to help you flesh it out.
This can bring a sense of putting things into perspective on your inner self and areas of your life where you fear asking for support from others. If you are shy, introverted or unusually timid, this Full Moon is for you!
The Full Moon takes place while the nodes are in Cancer and Capricorn. Cancer has to do with the home. Capricorn has to do with work. So, an area of home or employment work is ready for a revival. Things can feel uncomfortable at this moment and there’s an awareness of what must improve but with a collaborative effort on the part of others.
