DU STEPS BACK ,AGREES TO GO AHEAD WITH THREE YEAR DEGREE COURSE, FINALLY GIVING WAY TO ADMISSION PROCEDURES.

New Delhi: The Delhi University has agreed to roll back its Four Year Undergraduate Programme and return to the three year degree course, bringing relief to lakhs of students as admissions had come to a halt. DU Vice Chancellor Dinesh Singh who was under criticism on FYUP course, finally broke his silence today and in a statement said “in the interests of students” DU was reverting to the previous scheme in 2012-13 ie the three year degree course.

This turn around comes after a yet another stern UGC directive to DU to scrap the FYUP and start admissions at the earliest.
