DIPRA HANDSOVER A MEMORANDUM TO LG NAJEEB JUNG ON NEW YEAR
Ø Delhi Information and Public Relations Officers Association (DIPRA) met and handed over a memorandum to the Lt. Governor Sh. Najeeb Jung on the new year

A delegation of “Delhi Information and Public Relation Officers Association” (DIPRA) today met the Delhi Lt. Governor Sh. Najeeb Jung at Rajniwas and greeted him on the occasion of New Year 2015. The delegation also sublitted a memorandum regarding the revision of present pay scale of the Officers/officials of Information Department and creation of new posts in new modern age of knowledge based society. The delegation consists of Sh. Nalin Chauhan, President, Sh. Vinod Gupta, Vice President, Shri Amit Kumar, Sh. Chandan Kumar, Secretary, Sh. Manish Kumar, Sh. Govind Kundalia, Smt. Urmila Beniwal and Smt. Pravin Mishra Joint Secretaries along with photographers Sh. Ajay Kumar, Sh. Yogesh Joshi and Sh. S. N. Upadhyay.
The Lt. Governor praised the working of the Delhi Government PR Officers/officials and said it was good to see that these officers were performing the duty to publicize the Government policies, schemes and achievements in limited infrastructure support. The delegation also underlined the functional needs in new modern age of journalism and Public Relation. He assured the delegation that the Government would ensure the justice is done with the information cadre officers and officials. The Lt. Governor agreed with the need to increase the manpower and infrastructure in the Information Department. He assured for a positive and time bound action in this regard.
DIPRA have formed an association namely “Delhi Information and Public Relation Officers Association” with an prime cause to publicize the policies, schemes, initiatives and achievements of Government of NCT of Delhi among the citizens of capital city. Not only this, DIPRA will also promote the activities related to art, culture and heritage of the capital apart from the cleanliness campaign. In fact, with the promotion of the developmental, cultural and social activities of State Government, the organization will also to take care of the welfare of the Publicity Officers
