DELHI GOVERNMENT SUSPENDS ONE INSPECTOR(PLTI) TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT
INSPECTOR(PLTI) OF TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT SUSPENDED AFTER CONDUCTING ENQUIRY ON CHARGES OF CORRUPTION
- TRANSPORT MINISTER SHRI GOPAL RAI SAYS THE GOVERNMENT WILL TAKE STRICT ACTION AGAINST THE CORRUPTION AND MALPRACTICES

Delhi Govt. has suspended one PLTI, Shri Prem Dutt posted at Auto Rickshaw Unit/Taxi Unit Burari Authority. Transport Minister Shri Gopal Rai informed that a complaint against a Inspector of Burari Authority regarding corruption had received, an enquiry was conducted by Transport Department, in which the charge of corruption was, prima-facie, established. The Government has taken a serious view in the matter and the concerned Inspector has been placed under suspension.
Shree Rai emphasized the need to take appropriate measures to end corrupt practices prevalent in the day-today functioning of the Transport Department. He said the government will take strict action against the corruption and malpractices. He also directed the senior officers to make more field visits and keep strict vigil on such activities at Transport Authority.
