AZAM KHAN DEMANDS FIVE PERCENT QUOTA FOR MUSLIMS

Lucknow: A day after the Narendra Modi government cleared a proposal to give 10 per cent reservation in government jobs and education to economically backward in General category.

Samajwadi Party leaderAzam Khan has demanded five percent quota for Muslims.Khan said the government should allocate 5 per cent quota for Muslims from the new 10 per cent reservation announced. The NDA government has introduced a Constitutional Amendment Bill for the same in the Lok Sabha.
