DSGMC demanded to appoint Sikh member in I.C.H.R. and N.C.E.R.T

New Delhi (24th December 2017): DSGMC appreciated Modi’s Government for letter sent by NCERT Secretary Major Harsh Kumar for inclusion of Sikh history of Char Sahibzade in NCERT text book. DSGMC President Manjit Singh G.K., General Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Ex. President Avtar Singh Hit while talking to journalists thanked to Prime Minister Narender Singh Modi for granted their request on this topic.

G.K. said that Sikh History is the live example of great sacrifices and accidents. When society divided religion & did not allow people to enter the temple, then Guru Sahib allow them to featured their baani in Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and gave them place to sit in Shri Harmandar Sahib. Sikh History certified to sacrifices and improvements in society made by Guru Sahibaan and Sikhs.

G.K. demanded for appointment  a member in Indian Council of History Research (ICHR) and National Council of Education Research & Training (NCERT) & announced to make a committee of Sikh Historian with SGPC. G.K. said that to featured Sikh History in NCERT books is not an obliged on us infact it’s our right.

Sirsa said that Sikhs History had always ignored. Sirsa said that we should featured Sikh history in books during 1947, but now DSGMC will contact State Education Boards after NCERT For Publish The Sikh History in school books.
