SANJIV SINGH SELECTED CHAIRMAN INDIAN OIL CORPORATION BY PSEB

Sanjiv Singh has been selected Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd by PESB.Singh, 56, who is currently Director of Refineries at IOC, was selected for the top job after government head hunters Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) interviewed eight candidates.Besides Singh, PESB interviewed Oil India Director HR and Business Development Biswajit Roy and four executive directors of IOC, it said in a notice.He will have three-year tenure at the helms of India’s largest oil refining and marketing company. IOC is also the nation’s biggest company by revenue.He will replace B Ashok on his superannuation at end of May 2017.
Sanjiv Singh has been Director of Refineries at Indian Oil Corporation Limited since July 1, 2014. Mr. Singh served as an Executive Director of Paradip Refinery Project at Indian Oil Corporation Limited and served as its Executive Director of Panipat Refinery since May 2, 2013. He has been a Director of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd since July 3, 2014. He has been a Whole-Time Director of Indian Oil Corporation
