METRO FEEDER BUS SERVICE TO START IN GHAZIABAD ON DEC.30,A STEP TO CURB POLLUTION BY UPSRTC
Ghaziabad: To reduce private vehicles on roads, the Uttar Pradesh State Roadways Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) is set to launch its Metro Feeder Bus Service in Ghaziabad from December 30.
The Regional Manager (RM) of UPSRTC P.K. Bose said: “We are encouraged by its trial, although in its first round of trial today (Friday), the strength of the passengers in the bus was quite low. But since it has not been publicised much, the response is positive.”
State transport minister Mohammad Yashar Shah has given his consent to inaugurate the metro feeder buses from old bus stand to Vaishali and Kaushambhi metro stations on December 30, 2015, he added.
