AMIT SHAH TO FLAG OFF PARTY RALLY “VIJAY SANKALP YATRA” FROM MAHENDARGARH
With Assembly polls round the corner, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah will flag off a party rally which will pass through Haryana with an aim to “expose” Bhupinder Singh Hooda government on several issues including corruption and nepotism in government jobs.
‘Vijay Sankalp Yatra’ will start from Mahendragarh on August 14.
“Amit Shah will flag off Vijay Sankalp Yatra on August 14 from Mahendragarh,” Haryana BJP president Ram Bilas Sharma said. “This is the same venue from where Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi had addressed public rallies earlier,” he said.
Sharma said he would lead the rally covering several parts of the state including Rewari, Gurgaon, Mewat, Faridabad and Palwal. “The yatra will cover 23 Assembly segments in 11 days,” Sharma said adding, Union ministers Rao Inderjeet Singh and Krishan Pal Gujjar will also accompany him.
Sharma said the proposed yatra will focus on alleged corruption and favouritism in government jobs during Congress regime in Haryana. Assembly polls in Haryana are due in October.
