JUDICIAL CUSTODY FOR ASARAM BAPU EXTENDED TILL NOVEMBER 6

JODHPUR: A local court on Saturday extended the judicial custody of self-styled godman Asaram Bapu and four co-accused for 12 days in the case of sexually assaulting a minor after the police sought time till November 6 to file the chargesheet.

“The investigating officer, who was supposed to file the chargesheet today, sought more time to file the chargesheet. The investigating officer told the court that they will file the chargesheet on November 6,” counsel for the victim Manish Vyas said.

After this, the court extended the judicial custody of all the accused including Asaram till November 6.
