• The Bihar government on Wednesday promoted 05 IAS officers across different grades. All of them have been given proforma promotion as they are on central deputation and serving under central government.

IAS officers (1996 batch) promoted to Higher Administrative Grade (Principal Secretary rank) :

2. Rahul Singh

IAS officers (2005 batch) promoted to Super Time Scale (Secretary rank):

1. Ajay Yadav
2. Kuldeep Narayan

IAS officer (2008 batch) promoted to Selection Grade (Special Secretary rank) :

1. Dr. Ashima Jain
