WOMAN EMPOWERMENT SEEN AT ITS BEST AT VARIJA BAJAJ SHOW “PAGDI” AT CAFE PUBLIC CONNECTION
New Delhi: Pagdi is a symbol of honour, respect and responsibility in all the regions where it is a practice to wear them. From time immemorial it is the Men of the society who wear pagdis, which signifies their responsibility for the protection and welfare of the family.
PAGDI at Cafe Public Connection however was an ode to womanhood. Today, it is women who are actually responsible for laying a strong foundation not only for their family but society as a whole. The show was dedicated to these Women who are today the drivers of growth and future.
Fashion Designer Varija Bajaj joined hands with acclaimed footwear designer Swati Modo to carry forward this spirit of Womanhood.
The muses for this fashion evening were the most inspirational Liza Verma (Ex Miss India and show director), Jasmeen Duggal(Owner and Editor Explosive Fashion)Aarti Thapa(Editorial Director Luxe Point India and Wedding Fables)Nivedita Sharma (Senior Journalist-IANS).Once again PAGDI is an ode to women like these who have taken a huge responsibility to make this world a better place.
The Event was coordinated and executed by The Storytellers while the muses looked stunning with their bold make up done by Rupinder Malhotra.
Supporting the cause and seen standing up together for Womanhood were choreographer Ketan Bhatia,designers Manish Gupta,Aakash Agarwal and Rahul Singh,Enterpreneurs Jeetendra Dharewa,Avinash Pathania,Kiran Kheva,Nikita Arya,Tarrot Reader Poonam Sethi,Artists Gouri Sahni and Sunayan Malhotra,Bollywood Producers Manuj Sharma and Mahima and Pradeep Gupta…and the entire fashiom and media fraternity.
